Too Young For Love

Pearl was playing in the living room this afternoon while I did some cleaning and playing on the computer. She had her "dress up" shoes on and came in to ask me if she could go to the ball and did I think everyone would be wearing pretty dresses. I told her she could go and that I did think that the girls would be wearing pretty dresses.

A few minutes later she was back from the ball. This was her report: "I danced with the Prince. The Prince fell in love with me. I told him not to fall in love with me, I'm only six." Her Dad would be so proud of her. (Yes, she is only 5, but who's going to correct a girl who's okay with not being in love at such a young age!)
