Last Night

Macey gets so excited when Gavin comes home. Last night she was in the kitchen when he got home, and she kept saying "Daddy" over and over again, as she ran to the staircase and went up the staircase and ran to Daddy. I think he felt loved. Pearl on the other hand, was playing on the computer, and I'm not sure she even mustered up a "Hi." Miles was gated into the living room, doing his own thing.

As for supper ... my own little creation, which was super easy and big crowd pleaser. And, by that I mean Gavin loved it, and Pearl said it was better than she thought it would be. Macey moved hers around, and Miles dumped his plate. Anyway, thought you might enjoy.

Open-Face Meatball Sammie

Ingredients:
Some fully-cooked frozen meatballs (I just threw what I thought we'd eat in the crockpot)
Jar of spaghetti sauce (cheap and boring)
Texas Toast (I had the frozen kind, that you just bake for 5-10 minutes)
Mozzeralla Cheese, shredded

Directions:
Put the meatballs and sauce in the crockpot on low for 5-6 hours or so. Stir once or twice, just to make sure the sauce is all around the meatballs.

When ready to eat: Bake the Texas Toast according the package directions.

Assemble the sammie: One slice of Texas Toast, topped with meatballs and sauce, topped with cheese.

Serve and enjoy.
