Once we arrived back at Chez Wigg, all three children were deposited in the tub. This of course means that we'll have to comb out Pearl's hair. Since it is short, this isn't quite the battle it used to be, but still, she's not a fan. Anyway, I've told her before that my grandma used to say, "You must suffer to be beautiful," when I've been combing out tangles. Tonight I said, "You must suffer to be beautiful." And Pearl said, "What did your grandma always say?" I hadn't even mentioned Grandma tonight! Guess that means she does listen ... once in a while!
Special note to Grandma ... your words have now been passed on to the next generation!

Oh yes, the battle of hair combing! I know that one well. ;) Might have to try your grandma's wisdom on Natalie and see what she says. :)
