Retail Therapy

After about three days of Birthday Blues combined with complete and utter annoyance of the cancellation of several things, I decided I needed to leave the house for some much-needed retail therapy. My location of choice: Kohl's. Not only is almost everything on sale all the time, but I had a 30 percent off my entire purchase coupon. Actually I have two. So, I set my sites on Kohl's. I had so much fun. Not that you care, but here's the run-down of my purchase.
  • Top for Me
  • Dress for Me (probably for Easter)
  • Outfit for Pearl (Easter gift)
  • Rompers for both Miles and Macey (Easter gifts and I love rompers!!)
  • Two big beach towels for Me and Gavin (we don't really have nice beach towels, well now we do)
  • Two bottles of bubbles (Easter gifts)
  • Two books with stuffed toys (Easter gifts)
  • A birthday gift for my nephew
  • A Doll "Baby April" for Macey (because I love her)
  • A Stacking Toy for Miles (because I love him)
  • A Cube puzzle for Pearl (because I love her)
I know this seems like a lot, and that's because it is, but I really didn't care last night. Honestly, if my bill would have been twice as much as it was, I still would have happily paid it! Oh, and gifts is totally my love language, in case you didn't pick up on that. :-) I saved almost $200 (if I had actually paid full price for anything ... and who does that at Kohl's?)

This is Pearl's puzzle. Miles thought they made good stacking blocks. The puzzle was soon removed from the young man's reach.

Here is Macey giving "Baby April" a kiss. She came with that basinett, pillow and blanket. It was maked 60% off, but as it was missing several pieces (another outfit and something else), they gave me an additional 10% off, then I used my coupon for another 30% off. I love a good deal.

You can see here Miles' stacking cups. He does like them, but was fascinated with the puzzle blocks.

Thanks for reminding me that I have a 20% off to use at Kohl's this week! I forgot about it! Of course I wish I had gotten the 30% like you, but I had that one last time so I guess I don't get to be lucky twice in a row. :) Sounds like you made some good purchases. :)

Kohl's is always a good place to go for retail therapy! I love seeing how much I can save when I have one of those 30% coupons, mine was only 10% this time so I didn't go shopping this week:(
