Valentine's Day

Gavin and I opt not to celebrate Valentine's Day on the actual day, so we'll do our own celebrating this weekend when we have some extra babysitters around. :-) It was actually fun to celebrate as a family. Pearl sorta helped me make lunch, then we opened presents. The kids and Gavin all got new t-shirts, and my parents sent some special stuffed friends (see the pics below). We also got treats from Michelle and crew (very yummy cookies ... thanks!) and from Gavin's parents ... candy for the kiddos. This was also much appreciated, especially by the one who is hungry all the time: Miss Pearl "I-am-hungry-still" Wigg.

Miles and "Tusk"

Macey and "Pinkie"

Pearl and "Yellow Horse"
For a creative girl, she hasn't quite got the hang of naming friends with cool names.

After nap time, we gave the twins quick baths and rushed off to Penney's for their 18-month pictures. They did okay, but really weren't all that excited or cooperative. Here is their, "Really, you're going to take more pictures of us Mom?" photo that I took when we got home.

In between all of the Valentine's Day and picture day activities, we did manage to finish getting the house ready for the Open House on Sunday. We had a good response, so were moderately hopeful someone will want to make this house their home.

"Yellow Horse" cracks me up!!! Natalie always thinks for a little bit like she is trying to come up with something new and then says "Emily!" when she is going to name something. So we have a lot of Emily's around our house. :)

The twins picture outfits are so cute!!
