Pearl

On Friday, Pearl had her hearing and vision tested at school. She can hear just find, but had some trouble with the vision test. They recommended that she see an eye doctor. Luckily, we know an eye doctor, so we gave his office a call. She was able to get in yesterday! Pearl did a fantastic job at the eye doctor's office, and Dr. Hartman did a great job with Pearl! She will be sporting her new glasses in about a week ... stay tuned for pictures.

We are doing our best to be excited about the new glasses, so please feel free to offer a word (or two) of encouragement if you see her before, and especially after she gets her new specs! At this point in time, she's okay about having to wear glasses ... we'll see when they get here how she feels about it.
