One of those days

Here's our day, in bullets (just something different for a change):
  • Get up around 8 a.m.
  • Pearl and Gav leave to go get some breakfast for all around 8:30 a.m
  • We eat Daylight Donuts and apples for breakfast!!
  • I leave around 9:40 a.m. for a Faithbooking Workshop.
  • About 10 a.m., mayhem breaks out at my house, because ...
  • About 10:10 a.m. I get a call from Gavin indicating that our son has sprayed OxyClean into Macey's face/eyes.
  • At 10:13 a.m. I call the pediatrician's office.  They refer to poison control.
  • At 10:15 a.m. I call poison control (1-800-222-1222).
  • At 10:17 a.m. I call Gav back, who pretty much hangs up on me to call poison control again, when he tells me the actual name of the cleaning supply used by the boy to inflict tears by the girl.
  • At 10:22 a.m. Gav calls me back to tell me that everything is okay.  Miles got a spanking, Pearl was a good helper, and Macey was a trooper!
  • At 10:25 a.m. I am finally able to enjoy my workshop!!
  • After my workshop, I run to Wal-Mart, then stop by Sonic for a diet strawberry limeade.
  • Around 1 p.m., I am home.  No one is here.  It is quiet.  It is peaceful.
  • Around 1:30 or so, the troops arrive.  Everyone sleeps.
  • Everyone gets up.
  • Around 5 p.m., I start a movie for the kids, Gavin leaves for his gig, and I start cleaning out the refrigerator.
  • Around 6:30 p.m., Gavin calls to say that he'll be on stage around 7 p.m., so I start to pack up the kids, realizing we haven't eaten supper.  Maybe they won't notice.
  • We get to the gig around 7 p.m., just in time for a 20 minute break.
  • Playing resumes, and we stick around for a few songs.
  • At 8 p.m., we arrive at Culver's and eat some supper.  (Yes, this is bedtime!)
  • 9 p.m., we leave Culver's and head home.
  • At 9:45 p.m., the kids are all in bed and I did not get anything done this evening.
  • At 11:13 p.m., I finish this blog entry and wait for Gavin to get home!
Until next time,
