On the other side of the spectrum ..

Last night the Twiggs were outside playing while Pearl was at Taekwondo.  They were barefoot and fancy-free (despite their new sandals).  They were collecting rocks and popping in and out of the house while I cleaned up the kitchen and made some nontraditional banana bread (it was a muffin recipe).  At one point in time, I notice that Macey has gone to get one of her blankets.  So, being the mom and all, I ask her, "Macey, what are you doing?"  Her response, "I'm talking to Jesus."  Okay!  (It's not like I would say, no ... go put that blanket away and don't talk to Jesus.)

A few minutes later I check outside to "eavesdrop" on this conversation.  Her and Miles where both on the same chair with matching blankets, a bucket of rocks with two scoops and definitely seemed to be having a conversation.  It was super sweet.  Unfortunately my camera was downstairs and by the time I got back up, while they said they were still talking to Jesus, they had moved around and it didn't seem quite as intense or innocent anymore, so I didn't get a good picture.  Still, it was a really special moment!

Until next time,

Those are the moments you need to remember when they are being rotten. You can't help but love them!

How sweet! I can just picture them together. Don't you wonder what they were saying!? :)
