A Small Problem

With the recent addition of a puppy and growing children, we are thinking it is time to give all the kids their own rooms.  This means they lose their play room, which really wasn't ever used that much.  It is more of a place to put stuff and serves as a second guest room when we have my entire family here.  So, as I was cleaning bathrooms this morning in an empty house (thanks to my Husby), I was contemplating this move, when it hit me: Gavin and I would have to share a bathroom.  We have been married for 9 1/2 years and have been blessed to always live in a two-bathroom apartment/house.  Even in the apartments that had master baths, we didn't really share.  (Note:  Our houses have never had a master bath:  it is one of the few concessions I had to make when we bought our current home.)  I always took the bigger bathroom down the hall.

I haven't shared this bit of information with Gavin ... not sure if it will change our plans.  Time will tell.  However, time will also produce three kids who need their own space.  It also seems silly that the kids and I share a bathroom (which we do now), and that Gavin has one all to himself.  If I had to choose, I think I would rather share one with him rather than the girls, although I'm sure Miles feels the same way about that too!

I will keep you posted!

Until next time,
