We got to my parent's home late Friday night, as Pearl had taekwondo testing. We are now proud parents of a brown belt. Gavin had a busy weekend of work and being a musician, so he sent us to Iowa for the weekend. Check out all the fun!
Saturday morning we hit a neighboring town's city-wide garage sales.
In addition to the piano and two drums,
we picked up some clothes and other little toys.
One of the toys needed some new batteries.

As we'll be in Iowa quite often this summer,
the Twiggs were each given golf clubs (to be left in Iowa.)

We headed home on Monday. Yes, we pulled Pearl out of school. On the way home she asked if she was missing school. When I said yes, she said, "Yea!!" Then she quickly put two and two together and added, "oh, I'll have make-up work." Yep, you will!

Fun pictures! Love the one of them all on the porch. :) Why will you be in Iowa a lot this summer?
I don't know ... we just will be. :-) Mostly weekends to visit Mom and Dad and give Gavin some work time without worrying about us!! I'll let you know when we'll be there next!!
