Toddlers Times Two

My oh my!!! What to do with my little peeps? On Thursday, they found a new way to entertain themselves ... throw all of their blankets and dolls and stuffed friends over the baby gate. This proved to be a bad move on their part! Mommy did not give them back their things. (This was at nap time.)

Onto Friday night ...

I'm making a Valentine's Supper for Gav and I, and the commotion down the hall is great. Eventually the Twiggs realized that we were not giving in and giving back their belongings. Much crying commenced. When we went to check on them after the crying stopped, this is what we found:

Not only were all of their blankets, friends and dolls outside their room, but also the contents of their bottom three dresser drawers.

If you can't have your blanket, use an available rug!

If the rug is unavailable, due to your sister's plans, just go to sleep and hope for the best.

Miles woke up around 4:30 a.m. saying, "cover me," which I did. I like my sleep, and I figured lesson learned!!

Until next time,

P.S. These are their new half-birthday sheets!!

Uh oh, double trouble! Good for you for not giving in. I am surprised the baby gate keeps them in their room. We have to put the safety handle lock on the inside of Violet's room. Lately she has figured out how to take it off though and escape.

I agree, at least the baby gate keeps them in... for now! :) I laughed out loud when I saw that pile outside their door and then again when I saw Macey covered up with the rug. So funny! Cute new sheets, too. :)
