Weekend in Iowa

We are back home from a fun weekend at my parent's house. In addition to celebrating my Dad's birthday, it was also craft weekend. I'll get my pictures downloaded later today (maybe), but a few highlights:

1. We met Erin's boyfriend DeAngelo.
2. We powered through our crafts to make time for cards. Mom won ... typical.
3. Yummy Pizza Ranch.
4. Gavin got to play trumpet at church.
5. I got run over by the lawn mower tractor. Pearl and my mom were driving. I'm okay.
6. We celebrated Dad's birthday with John Deere fun and yummy Boston Cream Pie.
7. Pearl got to pick flowers and apples.
8. Macey and Miles slept well, with little complaining about the accommodations. (They usually aren't too excited about the pack 'n plays.)
9. We got to sleep in a little bit.
10. We got to sleep in a queen-sized, comfortable bed, not the noisy, uncomfortable double bed we have slept in the past seven-and-a-half years!
