And in other news ...

Pearl was still running a fever this morning, so we braved a visit to the doctor's office. The verdict: Pneumonia! GRRR. The poor girl is allergic to the two most common types of antibiotics, so she has to take this stuff that doesn't "taste" bad, but feels like sand in the mouth. Only 18 more times to go! On the upside, she gets Skittles or M&Ms with every dose to help with the "gritty" taste.

Thankfully, the twins remain symptom free. We are all missing our trips to the Y, and I'm going a little crazy with the lack of human contact. As it turns out, I'm a much better Mommy when I get some time to myself most days!

Pearl won't be at school tomorrow, and unless she wakes up without a fever tomorrow morning, she won't be there on Friday either. Twenty-four hours after the fever is gone is a long time. Oh well. Who needs school??
