Fun For Less

A few weeks ago I noticed this toy at Sam's Club, and thought it looked like fun, and it was only about $10. (It had been marked down.) However, I told myself that the Twins were having their birthdays soon, so I didn't really need to buy them anything, and I moved along.

Then, on Tuesday morning, the four of us (me and the kids) were at Sam's Club, and I noticed this toy again. Upon closer inspection I noted:
  • that it was like a mini water table with trucks. (I had wanted to buy a water table at the beginning of the summer, but thought it just seemed like a lot of money to spend.)
  • that there were three trucks.
  • that it had been marked down again to less than $8.
Armed with all this information, one five-year-old and the inability to pass up a good bargain, I bought it. Pearl played with it by herself Tuesday afternoon, and while she was off on a Daddy/Daughter Date, Macey and Miles got to check it out.

I loved that they got to play with it without watching big sister play with it first.

You can actually hook up a hose to this little contraption, but I can't imagine any good will come of that. Really? A hose and cheap plastic ... I don't think so!

Hurray! My mom is the best!

This is fun! Can we get more? Well, I thought I would check eBay and Amazon and see. The short answer is no. For the same toy I got for less than $8, one would have to pay $56.98 on Amazon and around $30 on eBay. Nope, just the one for now, kids! Enjoy!

Until next time,
