We had a great Christmas in Iowa, and we hope you enjoyed yours too! We celebrated with just the five of us the night before we left and had a small get together with the Wiggs on New Year's Day. We all enjoyed the time with family and the break from the normal routine.

No, she did not hit him; Miles wasn't feeling the best Christmas Eve,
but we powered through it and had a great evening.
Unfortunately, Christmas Eve night, Pearl had a four-hour coughing attack. I was the lucky parent who got to stay up with her and sleep on the floor in the room you see above, while she slept (eventually) on the couch. Thankfully, I was able to sleep a little extra the next day. All three kids had some fever/respiratory thing over the break, but I think we are on the mend.
