The Last Few Weeks

Okay, so I'm being a bit lazy this evening. As I can't seem to remember that blogger puts my pictures in the reverse order of events, you'll get a "look back" at the last few weeks, starting with the most recent of events. I really need to get to the pile of laundry, but also needed to get my blog updated, so I can blog about the random things in life, too!

Happy Birthday, Barb!
On Sunday, we celebrated Barb's 60th birthday.
Doesn't she look great?

On Saturday night, we went to the Falls with my parents, who were in town for the weekend. My mom and I were among the crazy people out at 5 a.m. on Friday, but most of my Christmas shopping is done! On Friday, we also got to see Gavin's aunt, uncle and cousins, which was fun, and we attended the Parade of Lights.

Pretty lights at the Falls.
Come visit at Christmastime. It's pretty amazing.

My kids, sitting on their Daddy!

Gavin and the kids watching a movie.

My girls. It looks like Pearl is reading Macey a Bible Story!

Yep, that's right; we have two toddler beds at our house now. This change was made on Nov. 20, at about 7:30 p.m. Macey kept saying, "Daddy broke bed." It's been a good change, but they are still adjusting to it. We keep finding Macey fast asleep on the floor!! We don't know if she's moving there or falling out of bed, but is too tired to care.

My new pantry! This has been a much-needed addition to our kitchen. I'm not sure where the people who lived here before us put all their stuff! (And, I still have stuff, like serving dishes and really big mixing bowls, in a cedar chest in the guest room and on a rack in the garage. Maybe I have too much stuff.)

That's about all for now. I have finally downloaded the 200+ photos from my camera from the past two weeks, and vow to be better about updating this, at least until Christmas!!

Until next time,

I'm glad to know that my kids aren't the only ones who sleep with oodles of blankets, books, stuffed animals, etc in the their beds!:)
