Updates and News

Last Wednesday I was invited to school for "Mother's Day." The kids sang songs and showered the moms with a special gift ... a plate. It made me feel like a mom ... who else gets plates made by little kids. Do I really have a child old enough to make me presents like that?? Apparently I do. Pearl did a great job on the plate and on the performance.


On Friday, we bopped all over Sioux Falls looking for a house to move to, as this one will be unavailable for us in about six weeks. We found one we liked, but decided to wait until we heard the results of the inspection here before moving forward. Fortunately, we didn't have to wait long. Yea! Things went well. So, we decided we wanted to go back and look at the house for a couple of reasons:

1. I couldn't remember what the kitchen looked like ... it was the last house we looked at on Friday, and I was exhausted.
2. We weren't really sure how big the yard was, as it was pouring down rain on Friday, so we didn't get to look around outside.
3. And really, shouldn't you always take a moment or two extra when investing large sums of money in a small part of our big, big world??

In other news, the Twins Toddlers are now 21 months old!! This occurrence happened on Sunday, along with Mother's Day and checking out the house again.
