Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's been a good year at the Wigg House!!  We've enjoyed time together as a family, and the kids are all finding fun things to do with their time!

Pearl ... She is our resident actor/singer.  She enjoyed a two-week music theater camp this summer and took acting classes this fall.  She also participated in Girls on the Run and completed a 5K!!!  Pearl is also in competitive cheer and dance this year and is doing a great job.  She is also in gymnastics and taking piano lessons.

Macey ... She is our resident gymnast/dancer/cheerleader.  The more time at the gym, the better, as far as she is concerned.  She is there most days, so that is a good thing!  Macey started Pre-K this fall, and while she is not a huge fan, she is doing well.  She also enjoys playing with our puppy, Arcee and spending time with her friends.

Miles ... He is our resident geek!  He is all about Transformer, Legos, Rescue Bots and his latest obsession:  Switch and Go Dinos.  He likes all things that transform and plays well by himself.  This serves him well, as he waits for his sisters a lot.  He is also taking a gymnastics/taekwondo class this year, and is enjoying that.

Katie ... I still cook when we are home, enjoy reading cookbooks and do the laundry and cleaning around here (most of the time).  My grandma passed away in February, so I took an unplanned trip to California for her funeral and to see family.  I am home full-time now, as I "retired" in May.  :-)  (With two grandpas retiring this year, when I quit my job, the kids thought I was retiring, too!)  I also serve on our gym's Booster Club board and enjoy watching the kids' skills improve at the gym!

Gavin ... He is our resident bread-winner!  He is running his company and enjoying new projects at work.  He enjoys spending time with the kids and playing trumpet as often as he can.  He is serving on our school's PTA board, getting an up-close look at how things at the school run.  He also goes out with his wife from time-to-time and likes soaking in his in-law's hot tub.

In other random news ... my parents moved to Sioux Falls this summer, and we love having them close by!  We also added two new family members this year:  My sister and brother-in-law welcomed their son, Damian, in September, and Gavin's brother and sister-in-law welcomed their son, Jesse, in October. We also were able to take a family vacation this summer to sunny Florida and Disney World.  It was a great vacation and lots of memories were made.
