Yep, it's true: we adopted a puppy this week. The kids were so excited; however, she is a puppy, so she's a "crazy puppy," to quote Miles. She has scared the kids a bit with her nipping and general puppyness, but they are getting braver, and she is learning who's in control.
For your information, here are her stats: She is a Cockapoo (mom is a Cocker Spaniel and dad is a miniature poodle). She is named after one of the few female Transformers. Her name was Pearl's idea, not Gavin's. At her vet check on Thursday, she weighed in at a whopping 4 pounds 8 ounces. She's about 10 weeks old and a total puppy! She has definitely shaken things up around here, and that's not a bad thing at at all.
