Pearl started running a fever on Friday morning and continued to run one through Sunday night. This meant for a long weekend at home and the canceling of our Super Bowl Party. However, we still partied with the just the five of us. We enjoyed yummy food and the company was pretty good too! Hopefully next year will again be hosting our family gathering, but with Pearl's fever and my headache, the quiet evening was probably just what we all needed.
Congrats to the Green Bay Packers on their win! We were cheering for them, as Jordy Nelson is a K-State Alum, and we (okay, I) love my Wildcats! Go State!
