Friday

I woke up at 5:30 a.m. this morning and never did get back to sleep, so at 6:45 a.m., I jumped in the shower to get ready for my busy day.

As I loaded Macey and Miles into the van at 7:50 a.m., I realized my purse was in our car, which was headed to who knows where.  This normally wouldn't have been so horrible, except that I had several places to go after my first stop, and in order for those stops to be considered "successful," money would be needed.  Thankfully, my Starbucks gift card was safely residing in my bag, and coffee was purchased before our first stop of the day:  MOPS.

The current coordinator had sent out a request for help for the MOPPETS program last week, as several people had already canceled.  It was weird walking back into MOPS.  After a year of being away, it seems like so much has changed.

After MOPS and the reunion with my purse (thanks to my awesome Husby), we lunched at McDs.  We then popped into Dollar Tree to get balloons for Pearl's teacher for some random party the kids had come up with all by themselves.  After dropping of the balloons, we headed to Wal-Mart for a few items, then home for about an hour to start our weekly cleaning.

At 3 p.m., we headed out again to pick up Pearl** and head to the doctor's office for the kids' flu shots.  On the way into the office, Miles face planted, scratching up his face and his glasses.  Poor little guy.  On the upside, the shots themselves went quite smoothly.

Upon returning home almost two hours later, I finished cleaning while the kids played outside with Gavin.  Then, I made supper for the family and Aunt Dana.  Everyone loved having Aunt Dana over for a visit!!

Of course, then it was time to put little people to sleep and clean up the kitchen.  Now, I'm at my computer.  Oh, and to top off my day, we only had to visit restrooms at the following today:  MOPS Church, McDonalds, Wal-Mart, the doctor's office and home.  :-)  The Twiggs are doing great in that department!

Until next time,

**As it turned out, the party didn't actually take place, but the always lovely first-grade teacher was thankful and said the balloons could even be worked into their social studies lessons.
